TEMPORARY CLASS TEACHER MPR-UPS (x 2)

Required from September 2024

The governors of St Vincent’s wish to appoint 2 fixed-term temporary class teachers to cover maternity leave from September 2024 until July 2025 or until the substantive post holder returns.

We welcome applications from highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who are committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning in a Catholic school.

 The board of governors are looking for someone who:

  • is Catholic and committed to Catholic education or who is supportive of the Catholic faith.
  • is an outstanding teacher.
  • has high expectations of achievement for every child.
  • has the skills to act as a role model capable of inspiring and motivating others.
  • can support and motivate children, parents and colleagues in achieving the highest standards of attainment and personal development.

Required from 1 September 2024

The Governors of St Vincent’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated, committed and compassionate teaching assistant to carry out the duties of a teaching assistant level 2 from September 2024.

This position will support a pupil on a 1:1 and provide support for the pupil and the teacher. This is a temporary position and will cease on the earlier of when the child leaves the school or funding ceases.

We are looking for:

  • A compassionate and caring practitioner who is aspirational and passionate about outcomes for children with special needs.
  • Someone who can work in partnership with others.
  • Someone who is flexible and well organised.
  • Someone who can make positive relationships with parents
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school.
