The Anniversary of D-Day

Start: 6th Jun 2016 9:00am

To celebrate the anniversary the children may, across the whole school, bring any memorabilia they have from any aspect of WW2. It can be anything from favourite books right up to letters/postcards/medals from the time.

Throughout the school day each class will be researching and learning all about D-Day and how important it was to the overall War effort. This will be an excellent opportunity for children to present and use information they have brought in from home and hopefully tell the stories of family members who served during the war.
