Fun on 'No pens Wednesday'

Today in Year 1 we all took part in lots of different activities for "No Pens Wednesday". Firstly we transformed our classrooms into the 'X factor studio' and we listened to various characters' performances. We listened to Shrek, Fiona and Donkey singing their favourite song. We then voted for our favourite and collected our data and made pictograms. After this we had to describe the porridge from 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. We passed the porridge round and we all told each other an adjective. We then 'acted' out the story trying very hard to use different facial expressions and voices. After lunch we labelled parts of the body in Science.

We have all had a great day and have enjoyed all the speaking and listening activities!
