Mrs Burke and Mrs Gerrard's Class 2019 - 2020

We have been very busy so far this year! We were delighted with the amount of children who completed the Summer Reading Challenge and have been working hard in all subjects. We have celebrated UN day and learnt lots of new facts about Mexico, we wrote prayers for people in other parts of the world and took part in a parade with Year 2. We have learnt about British Values linked to Remembrance Day and we wrote lovely prayers about people who help keep our country safe. We were so proud of our class presenting a thoughtful assembly on friendship during Friendship and Anti-bullying week. All children learnt their lines perfectly and everyone went away remembering 'the only way to have a good friend is to be one!'
